Nirvesh has more than 25 years of experience in the ICT industry.

Rasagee Pillay is the current CEO of African Ideas. Rasagee has more than 30 years of experience in the academic, NGO, private and government sectors in South Africa, with a particular focus on ICT for development and knowledge management.

Zain Ebrahim

Head: Outsourced Servces

Zain Ebrahim is an African Ideas divisional executive. His focus is growing our capability in the telecommunications space. African Ideas’ current primary telecoms client is MTN. Zain manages several MTN accounts for African Ideas. Zain has over two decades of experience in the telecoms sector in South Africa.

Thando Shabalala

Head: Web Development

Thando Shabalala is a Political Sciences and English Studies graduate of the University of Cape Town. He is a published writer, editor and marketer, working in the online realm since 2017. He specialises in web development and content production.

Aleya Banwari

Head: Talent Acquisition

Aleya Ramparsad Banwari is a Masters in Public Health student at the University of Cape Town (UCT). They/She is a graphic design and marketing specialist with 5 years of experience in social media management, largely focused on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Aleya is a Prosci-certified Change Management Specialist and recently completed the Foundation in Design Thinking Programme at the Hasso Plattner d-school Afrika at UCT.

Devlin Sooful

Head: Business Automation

Devlin is a Political Sciences, Philosophy, and Economics graduate of the University of Cape Town. He specialises in business automation, focusing on backend tools to create workflows to integrate different business processes to increase efficiency.
